Audiences were invited to an evening of scenes and excerpts from a range of new works, each highlighting a pivotal moment in a character’s life—instances of revelation, reckoning, or unexpected renewal. In some cases, all at once.

​The evening showcased The Thief of Tears by Jeffrey Hatcher, along with scenes from The Sound Inside by Adam Rapp, Hand to God by Robert Askins, In the Wake by Lisa Kron, People, Places and Things by Duncan Macmillan, and Heisenberg by Simon Stephens, with direction by Andrew Dolan, Scott Freeman, Dan Hilt, Jamie Gore Pawlik, Derek Speedy, and Sammy Zeisel.
